Humidity seems to be the trend for the summer of 2018. I don't remember a summer with continuous humidity, weeks after weeks, with only a small break. Well the humidity looks to stick around for the end of the work week but there is some relief in sight for this weekend but it comes at a cost of a cold front.
Clouds this morning give way to sunshine during the afternoon. An isolated shower or thunderstorm possible this evening but most of the area stays dry. The chance for showers increases tonight into tomorrow morning as a pre frontal trough moves through. More in the way of rain Friday afternoon and evening as the cold front moves through. We will be keeping an eye on the potential for flash flooding, especially areas across the Southern Valleys that saw heavy rain earlier in the week.
Showers taper off Saturday morning with clouds giving way to sunshine by the afternoon. MUCH less humid by Saturday and Sunday, with dew points in the 50s!
