KIRKLAND, N.Y. (UPDATE) -- The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says a Morrisville man has died after a two-car crash along State Route 12B in the town of Kirkland on Sunday night around 7 p.m.
David Pearsall, 66, of Morrisville, died on-scene after being hit by a pickup truck driven by Richard Burdick Jr., 56, of Clinton.

His 65-year-old passenger, Lorie Pearsall, also of Morrisville, was taken to St. Elizabeth's Medical Center for evaluation.
According to Oneida County Sheriff Rob Maciol, Burdick was driving northbound on State Route 12B when he crashed into Pearsall's car, which was going southbound. In the vehicle with Burdick were Lawrence Gell, 57; Kelly Gell, 44; and Lauren Gell, 22, all of Clinton.
Burdick was taken to St. Elizabeth's Medical Center for facial injuries. His passengers were taken to area hospitals for minor injuries.
The Oneida County Criminal Investigation Unit is investigating the incident, and have not yet determined if any charges will be filed.
Fire Police, Kirkland Police Department, the Oneida County Sheriff's Office and other agencies responded to the initial call, as well as several ambulances.
