UTICA, N.Y. -- Juliana Hardy recently opened up a wellness facility called Move Breathe Live. She’s now offering a variety of fitness related options and meditation tools to be able to reconnect and calm ourselves. During these trying times it’s important for first responders and healthcare workers to decompress, so she’s recommending a new technique called “shake."
"With the news and everything that’s going on, we are up here, and we keep spinning the stories, and we bring the energy up and then we spin the stories. We bring it up and we spin it. So the shaking to me I think of it as a snow globe. We have all this kind of chaos in our mind…being able to shake it and let it settle to quietness, and then we have more stillness," she said.
In addition to paid classes, Juliana is offering some free exercises you can access using zoom.
