It's time now to welcome the newest members of our Morning Mug Club -- brought to you by Holland Farms Bakery & Deli.
Coming up on Saturday, Sept. 11, and Sunday, Sept. 12, is the 10th Annual Mediterranean Festival, hosted by St. George Orthodox Church.
The event begins at 12 p.m. on both days. The church is located at 350 Higby Road, in New Hartford.
Enjoy plenty of delicious Lebanese and Greek food, including many types of grilled Gyros, Tabbouleh, Hummus, Grape Leaves, rice pudding, fried dough, and the irresistible Baklava Sundaes.
There will be beer and wine available.
For entertainment, there will be music, traditional dances, and raffle prizes.
Venders will be on site, selling their unique merchandise including a bake goods.
The event is free and the parking is free, rain or shine, and will take place on the grounds of the church.
A portion of the proceeds this year will go to support Hospice and Palliative Care, in honor of Richard Nimey, who died in 2019.
