It's time now to meet the newest members of our Morning Mug Club -- brought to you by Holland Farms Bakery & Deli.
Coming up on Saturday, October 12th, CNY Mini Moto is having a pit bike race, which is just miniature dirtbikes.
It's being held at On The Rocks Bar and Grill, in Taberg.
Recently, Taberg's Highway Superintendent passed away from ALS, so they are having the race in honor of him and his dedication to the town.
All the money raised is going to be donated to the ALS Therapy Development Institute.
Registration starts at 3pm and racing starts at 5pm, with practice. They have 4 classes for every different skill levels and bike type.
Admission is $5. They will have live music from 8pm-11pm by Eddie Arcuri Jr.
They held a similar race last October, and raised money for a local motocross rider that had recently been involved in a crash and was paralyzed from the chest down. Last year, they raised a little more than $4,000 for him and his family. They are looking to beat that this year with the race.
This year, they are giving away a brand new 2019 Polaris Sportsman 450 four-wheeler, raffle tickets are currently being sold for $20 a piece.
