It's time now to meet the newest members of our Morning Mug Club -- brought to you by Holland Farms Bakery & Deli.

The Board of Trustees for the Western Town Library, located at 9172 Main St., Westernville, is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day take out fundraiser event on Thursday, March 18 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. The menu includes Ham; Scalloped Potatoes and Coleslaw from Eddies Paramount Diner in Rome; Beans; Split Top roll from Freihofer’s Bakery and a half moon cookie from Hemstrought’s Bakery in Utica. Cost of this fabulous meal will be only $12.00.

This is a curb side pick up to ensure social distancing and reservations are required. Call the library at 315-827-4118 to leave a message to order your meals. You will get a call back to confirm they have your order. Then you will be given a time slot for your pick up. A cashier will be at the entrance to the library parking lot and the line will form on Main Street to the South of that. This will keep the line to the right hand side of the road only and we hope to deliver your orders to your car quickly to keep things moving along.

To help with your compliance with Covid-19 guidelines, the Library has non-medical masks for sale in assorted patterns and colors. St. Patrick’s Day face masks are available now for purchase ($6.00 and $7.00) for adults, youth, and children. Easter themed masks will be coming later. Proceeds benefit the Library.

The Western Town Library is a multipurpose organization dedicated to enriching the lives of community members by providing recreational and educational services. They are an affiliate of the Mid-York Library System which provides support, on-line services and shares the Mid-York catalog of books, magazines and DVDs. The Western Town Library operating hours are Tuesday thru Thursday from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a mask is required to enter the library and patrons are limited to six at a time. Curbside pick-up is still available for those who prefer.

If you would like more information on the services or activities offered by the Western Town Library, call 315-827-4118, check them out on Facebook or on their website.
