ILION, N.Y. - Brennan Murray, a senior at Central Valley Academy, is heading to SUNY Cortland in the fall to play football for the Red Dragons.
A two-year varsity starter for the Thunder, Murray played on both sides of the ball as a tight end and defensive end.
A 2x Class B East all-star, he was selected for the second team in his junior year before being named to the first team in his senior season.
He played this past fall with a broken bone and torn ligament in his thumb.
Murray was also a member of the CVA boys varsity basketball team for two years where he was a Tri-Valley League Frontier Division second team all-star.
He plans on studying physical education at SUNY Cortland.
