Edmonton, Alberta, Canada - On July 26, the National Hockey League's Western Conference teams will travel to Rogers Place Arena in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada but a rain storm says not so fast.
On Thursday, a severe storm in western Canada caused flooding which resulted in water damage at the Oilers home stadium.
In a statement, the Oilers Entertainment Group said that it is assessing the damage and "at this time are confident that it will not hamper our planning and preparation..."
Exhibition games begin on July 28 with meaningful games beginning August 1.
Edmonton will also host the conference finals and Stanley Cup final.
Eastern Conference teams, are beginning the restart in Toronto.
