New Hartford Aldi to close for renovations

The Aldi on Seneca Turnpike, next to Jay-K Lumber, is temporarily closing for renovations.

NEW HARTFORD - The Aldi on Seneca Turnpike, next to Jay-K Lumber, is temporarily closing for renovations.

The store is getting ready for an 1,800 square foot expansion which includes changes to the parking lot.

Aldi is in the middle of a five-year growth program, where the chain plans to open more than 800 stores nationwide by the end of 2022.
