CLINTON, N.Y. (UPDATED) – A New Hartford man was arrested for allegedly stabbing two people at The Village Tavern in Clinton early Friday morning.
Oneida County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Kirkland police were called to the scene on College Street around 2 a.m., where they found two men suffering from stab wounds. One man was stabbed in the face and the other in the abdomen.
Jason M. Allen, 38, was arrested Friday morning at his residence, and was taken to the sheriff’s office to be processed.
Allen is charged with second-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon, both D felonies.
He is at Oneida County Correctional Facility pending arraignment.
Police say both victims were sent to the hospital for treatment, and have since been released.
