DEANSBORO, N.Y. – After the Great American Irish Festival announced it was moving to September, some may have felt the summer wouldn’t be the same without the Celtic celebration.

But now, the new Central New York Irish Festival will fill that void.

The CNY Irish Festival will take place at MKJ Farm in Deansboro on July 11 from noon to 11 p.m.

There will be highland games, cultural events, music and even special activities for kids.

The High Kings and Enter the Haggis are scheduled to perform, among others.

There are also camping options available for those who wish to stay on site during the festival.
