ROME, N.Y. – The Stanley Theatre is offering a new app allowing patrons to order snacks or drinks, and have them delivered to their seat.
People can also place an order, and then pick it up from the concession stand or bar when it’s ready.
The goal is to reduce congestion at the bar and avoid missing parts of the show.
“It comes down to not wanting to miss the fun. We don't want you to feel like you have to leave a show for a few songs with the bands playing. You can stay in your seat and have a great time and we'll take care of the rest,” said Lisa Wilsey, executive director.
The services will vary based on the type of show, where some may be better for pick-up, delivery may make more sense for others.
The app will debut during the Get the Led Out show on Saturday.
