NEW HARTFORD, NY - There's a new toy store that has opened in the Mohawk Valley, just in time for the upcoming Christmas holidays.
Lady & Leap Toy Shop held their grand opening Saturday in the New Hartford Shopping Center.
They are located right next door to Herb Philipson's.
This unique store offers a wide variety of educational toys that can help with your child's development, as well as traditional toys and games.
The owner of Lady & Leap Toy Shop, Cristin Heleston, says they also offer classes for children and parents.
"We can bring kids and parents in, and they can learn how to interact with each other while they play. They can stay away from the video games and online stuff that kids do and have more interaction with the family."
Lady & Leap Toy Shop is open Monday thru Saturday 10 am to 8 pm, and Sunday noon to 4 pm.
