UTICA, N.Y. -- John Treen from the Stevens-Swan Humane Society of Oneida County brings rat terrior, Jeremy, by WKTV. A rat terrier is a type of chihuahua.
Treen says 8-year-old Jeremy is very friendly, and gets along with other dogs, cats and people.
Jeremy came to the society as a stray, where they discovered he has Lyme Disease. He takes an antibiotic every day, a treatment that is nearly completed. Treen says the antibiotic should stop the disease from spreading throughout Jeremy’s body.
Jeremy is currently up for adoption through the humane society. Anyone interested in adopting Jeremy or viewing other pets available for adoption should visit: stevens-swan.org.
