NewsTalk: Local Vigils Planned to Remember New Zealand Victims

Jill Farnham-Us, Coordinator for the Local Vigils, joined us at Sunrise for NewsTalk, to discuss the two planned vigils to remember the lives lost in the New Zealand massacre.

She spoke of the candlelight vigil that will be held later tonight at the main quad of MVCC, to honor and remember the lives lost in Friday's New Zealand massacre. This gets underway from 5pm - 6pm tonight.

There will be members from the Muslim Student Association as well as some guest speakers from the Interfaith Coalition of Greater Utica.

Farnham-Us also spoke of a separate vigil that will be held tonight at the Bosnian Islamic Association of Utica Mosque.

There will be a community dinner, and prayers for victims of the mosque shootings. This gets underway from 6:30 to 8 tonight.
