YWCA MV is currently accepting nominations for the 31st Annual Salute to Outstanding Women awards.
About Salute 2019:
•Salute 2019 will honor the spirit of the suffragettes who fought for women's right to vote and for women's equality and empowerment for nearly 70 years.
•2019 marks the 100th birthday of the 19th Amendment
•Honorees represent YWCA MV's mission and are champions of positive change
•We will be returning to our luncheon format
•Nominations are open online at ywcamv.org/Salute

•Nominations are due back to us by close of business on Tuesday, January 15
•Nominees must be 18 years of age or older*, and live and/or work in Oneida or Herkimer county
*Outstanding Youth nominees must be 17 years of age or under who deserve recognition for school-related achievements or community contributions

Salute is not only a chance for us to honor trailblazing women in our community, but also our largest fundraiser, benefiting all programs and services of our agency.
Our work is critical, as we are the only provider of domestic and sexual violence crisis services in Oneida County.
We are the only providers of sexual violence and child sexual violence crisis services in Herkimer County.
We reach out over 15,000 times annually to provide shelter, client advocacy services, counseling, referrals, and prevention education.
