UTICA, N.Y. -- Jerry Kraus, the outgoing executive director of the Stanley Theatre, and new Executive Director Lisa Wilsey joined Don Shipman for a NewsTalk on what's new at the Stanley, plus a preview of the 'High School Musical' lineup.
The shows showcase all the local high school talent, where all the schools come together for families of the Mohawk Valley to be able to see their children featured on a bigger stage.
Students get out on the Stanley stage, and the hope is that they carry on the legacy of the theater, beyond the Utica area.
The shows feature:
- Proctor (Oklahoma!)
- New Hartford (Cinderella)
- New York Mills (The Little Mermaid)
- Oriskany (Guys and Dolls)
- Whitesboro (Thoroughly Modern Millie)
The showcase will be held on Saturday, February 2 at 2 p.m.
