Tanya Streeter from MVHS and Dr. Michael Sassower from CNY Cardiology sat down with Jason Powles to talk about a new partnership where they are offering the WATCHMAN procedure to the community.

The WATCHMAN is an innovative, one time procedure that reduces the risk of strokes that originate in the left atrial appendage (LAA).

Not only does it reduce the risk of stroke, but it removes the risk of bleeding that can come with the long-term use of blood thinners like Warfarin (also known as Coumadin®).
