NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. – New Hartford Central School District sent letters Tuesday notifying parents about a staff member at E.R. Hughes Elementary School who may have been exposed to coronavirus.
Superintendent Robert Nole said the school reached out to the Oneida County Health Department as a precaution, and, “According to OCHD, our staff member faces ‘No restrictions because [the staff member] was too far removed from the actual contact.’”
The district continues to follow guidelines set by the state and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention regarding preventative measures against coronavirus.
