UTICA, N.Y. (UPDATED) – Police responded to the Wendy’s on North Genesee Street in Utica around 12:45 a.m. Tuesday morning after a teen was stabbed multiple times.
The victim was taken to St. Elizabeth Medical Center to be treated for injuries that police say are serious, but not life-threatening.
According to police, the victim started arguing with another employee before the altercation got physical. The suspect then pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim.
Because the parties involved are minors, police say no names will be released. However, charges are expected to be filed by the Juvenile Aid Division.
