Ward's car was making a left-hand turn, when she collided with a car heading northbound driven by Kristin Healt, also of West Leyden.
Healt was riding with two small children, ages 6 and 9.
All four were transported via AmCare Ambulance to Rome Memorial Hospital for evaluation, still no word on their condition.
Ward was ticketed for failing to yield the right of way. She'll appear at Ava Town Court at a later date.
