The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office mobile app has been upgraded to include alerts from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) amid growing coronavirus concerns in the region.
To activate the alerts, download the app and go to settings to turn on the CDC notifications.
“The upgraded app will help the public receive fast breaking, credible news and information from the CDC,” said Sheriff Maciol. “I encourage you to share the app with your family, friends, and neighbors so they too can receive our alerts and news.”
The newly released upgrade also includes features like news, push notifications, submit a tip, inmate and correctional facility information, sheriff’s office social media, and the Most Wanted list.
The app is available for free on Android and Apple products.
