UTICA, N.Y. – While many residents are wondering when they can start holding their annual garage sales, Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente says it’s unclear what phase might include such activities.
When asked during his coronavirus briefing Tuesday, Picente said he won’t venture to guess about how the state plans to move forward after the confusion over the beginning of Phase 2.
“I have no idea, nor will I take a stab at it or even a guess. As I said…I’m going to wait and see when Phase 3 is given the green light, because I’m not going to get in the same situation we did the last time,” he said.
When regions move to Phase 3, businesses that provide food and personal care services can start to reopen.
NEWSChannel 2 reached out to state officials to ask which phase might includes garage sales, but has not yet received a response.
