WHITESBORO, N.Y. – The Federal Drug Administration and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have both endorsed use of the Pfizer vaccine in kids as young as 12, and Oneida County has set up its first POD offering shots to kids in that age group.
Anyone 12 and older can get a Pfizer shot at Harts Hill Elementary School on Clark Mills Road from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and must have proof of age.
There are several other upcoming county vaccine clinics in Rome, Utica and Trenton.
