UTICA, N.Y. – Another Oneida County resident has died from coronavirus, which is the fourth death reported in the county since the coronavirus outbreak started to spread across the state.
Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente said Tuesday there are 13 new positive cases in the county, bringing the total of people who have tested positive to 224. Out of those, 53 people have recovered, leaving 171 active cases.
There are 33 people currently hospitalized with the virus.
The county has received 1,135 negative test results, with 167 results still pending.
There are 391 people in mandatory quarantine and 453 people in precautionary quarantine. As of Tuesday, 1,579 people have been released from quarantine overall.
