VERONA, N.Y. – The Oneida Indian Nation will open a new hotel at the former Microtel Inn & Suites in Verona on Feb. 12.
The new Sandstone Hollow Inn was purchased by the Nation to accommodate increased demand for lodging at Turning Stone Resort Casino.
According the Nation, the hotel will be closed for a few days prior to convert to new systems.
The hotel is located at 5118 Route 365.
The Nation says the majority of Microtel employees have been retained, but they will likely need to hire additional staff.
