VERONA, N.Y. – Smoking will be banned and face coverings will be required throughout the gaming floors at all Oneida Indian Nation casinos, including Turning Stone Resort Casino, starting July 10.
Initially, the face mask requirements did not apply to Turning Stone’s Casino Blu and certain parts of the Bingo Hall.
Officials say temporarily banning smoking will allow people to follow the new mask mandate, which is in line with public health recommendations.
Since the casinos opened on June 10, visitors from more than 120 miles away were not allowed into any of the locations. In place of that rule, the Nation says anyone from a state listed on the New York travel advisory will not be allowed inside any of the venues.
All gaming venues will continue to require ID and screen guests entering the properties.
