ANNSVILLE, N.Y. -- An Oneida man has been arrested after police say he allegedly violated an active temporary order of protection.
The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says Wayne Lints Jr., 41, of Oneida violated an active temporary order of protection. It was issued by Rome Family Court. He is charged with Criminal Contempt in the first degree, a class E-Felony.
The alleged incident happened around 1:40pm on Jan. 13 at a home on Blossvale Road, in Annsville.
Lints was later found in Oneida and taken into custody without incident.
Wayne was processed at the Oneida County Sheriff's Office and taken to the Oneida County Jail for pre-arraignment detention.
An active temporary order of protection remains in place for the victim.
