ONEIDA, N.Y. – Two men have been charged following an armed robbery investigation in Oneida.
Officers were called to the 100 block of Washington Avenue on Feb. 24 around 7 p.m., after receiving a report of shots fired in the area.
Police say the incident was a drug deal that went wrong and turned into an armed robbery. No one was injured, according to police.
The two suspects fled the scene in a dark blue Nissan Altima. The vehicle was found empty on Mill Street a short time later, and seized as evidence.
On Friday, Oneida police arrested 22-year-old Zachary Millson, of Oneida, and 21-year-old Joseph Macri, of Vernon. Both are charged with first-degree robbery, fourth-degree conspiracy and petit larceny. Macri is also charged with criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment.
