The program is the result of a task force that was established to help ensure that small businesses did not falter during the forced shutdown.
The approved funding will be divided into three categories.
$3,000 will be budgeted for online sales promotions, while another $75,000 will go towards the reopening of small businesses.
The remaining $75,000 will go towards small business recovery.
Money for the funding will come from repurposed community development grant funds and possible FEMA aid.
