Utica, N.Y. - The 71-year-old man who robbed the Berkshire Bank in Oriskany Falls in May pleaded guilty to the crime in Oneida County Court on Tuesday.
Walter Parker of Carthage pleaded guilty to one count of robbery.
Parker displayed what appeared to be a handgun and demanded money. He fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.
He was arrested after a DNA test from the New York State Police Crime Lab matched Parker's DNA.
Parker was convicted of several bank robberies back in 2004 and served more than 10 years in state prison.
He's due to be sentenced in Oneida County Court on October 22nd.
