OTSEGO – The Otsego County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding a missing vulnerable woman.

Deputies say 60-year-old Margaret Thayer was reported missing from Parslow Road in the town of Otsego on March 6. She was last seen at her residence on March 1.

Deputies say Thayer is a vulnerable adult, and she has a medical condition and restricted mobility. She’s described as being 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 140 lbs, with grey hair, hazel eyes and glasses.

Members of the Sheriff’s Office have searched Thayer’s residence and the surrounding area, as well as all medical facilities, and they’ve interviewed Thayer’s family members. Deputies say there has been no contact from Thayer.

If anybody has information about Thayer’s whereabouts, they’re asked to call the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office at 607-547-4273.
