UTICA, N.Y. – Parkway Drugs is offering patrons another way to get prescriptions if they are practicing social distancing.
Owner Vincent Chiffy says all three locations are offering curbside pickup, and waiving delivery fees to bring medications to people’s homes.
Chiffy says they’re also adding more delivery drivers and extending hours.
“So, what we did on our end was to increase our deliveries. We have some of the people coming in earlier. At my store here, instead of people coming in at 1 p.m., I have two drivers coming in at 2 o’clock, so we can get more deliveries out through the day. Our deliveries have picked up tremendously,” said Chiffy.
Anyone with more than one prescription is advised to call them all in at the same time, so they can be filled and delivered together to minimize deliveries.
