Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente said Thursday one more person has tested positive for coronavirus in Oneida County, bringing the total to 16.
He said two people out of the 16 are hospitalized outside Oneida County and one person is hospitalized in Oneida County.
Picente announced the county's new mental health hotline will be available Friday morning at 8:30 A.M.
"It will provide access to mental health professionals who can guide residents through mental distress that can arise during these times," Picente said. "We have established it with a multitude of people, a number of professionals who will be able to handle it, this is not just one phone line, this is something we are staffing on a regular basis."
Picente says this is for residents who are feeling overwhelmed, stressed, and just need someone to talk to.
The number is 1-800-678-0888.
