UTICA, N.Y. – One person diagnosed with coronavirus in Oneida County has died, County Executive Anthony Picente announced Tuesday.
No details were released about the individual.
There are also eight new positive cases of coronavirus, bringing the total in the county to 46.
There are eight people hospitalized at this time, including six locally and two outside the county.
Picente says 12 people diagnosed have resolved on their own.
There have been 604 people tested in Oneida County in total, with 362 results coming back negative. The health department is still awaiting 196 test results.
There are 288 people in mandatory quarantine, and 229 people in precautionary quarantine.
Picente says 523 people have been discharged from quarantine since the county started tracking.
