UTICA, N.Y. – A third person has died from coronavirus in Oneida County, and 33 more people have tested positive, according to County Executive Anthony Picente.
That is the highest single-day increase the county has seen since it started tracking coronavirus cases on March 17.
There have been 162 Oneida County residents diagnosed with coronavirus so far, but Picente says 30 people have recovered, leaving 129 active cases remaining.
There were 66 more negative tests reported Thursday. Nearly 900 people have tested negative overall.
There are still 212 test results pending.
