Pickup truck hits lawn mower in Rome, two injured

The driver of the vehicle and the person operating the lawn mower were taken to the hospital.

ROME, N.Y. -- A pickup truck hits a lawn mower in Rome sending two people to the hospital.

According to investigators with Rome police, the truck was driving down East Dominick Street when it went off the road and hit the lawn mower who was mowing a property.

The driver of the vehicle and the person operating the lawn mower were taken to the hospital.

The extent of injuries are to be determined.

No tickets were issued.

The accident is under investigation.
