Josh Gregory lead all scorers with 27 points, but the Pioneers found a way to beat the Wildcats in Marcy 85-82, Tuesday.
It was an interesting match-up with Gregory and former Whitesboro Warriors teammate Tom Morreale going head-to-head for the first time in college. The two players were even tasked to guard each other for much of the game.
Kobe Lufkin lead the Pioneers with 22 points on 9-11 shooting from the field.
Utica improves to 3-1 while the Wildcats fall to 2-3.
Women's Ice Hockey
Hamilton 6, Morrisville St. 0
The Continentals outshot the Mustangs 40-13 en route to a sizable 6-0 win at Sage Rink, Tuesday.
Nancy Loh had two goals for the Continentals with Abby Kuhns (1g, 3a), Missy Segall (1g, 2a), Kate Piacenza (1g, 1a) and Hyla Mosher scoring the others.
Michaela Giuttari notched three assists with Allie Curry, Jess Haviland and Tracey Stafford also getting on the scoresheet with helpers.
Sidney Molnar and Gab Venne combined to stop 13 shots in the shutout for Hamilton, while Adriana "Sissy" Harman made 34 saves for the Mustangs.
With the win, Hamilton improves to 2-3, while Morrisville St. falls to 4-4-1 with the loss.
