with temperatures in the lower 20s and partly cloudy skies. By the afternoon, we will have a mix of sun and
clouds with highs in the low to mid 30s. Tuesday evening, temperatures drop into the upper 20s with partly
clear skies. Increasing cloud cover into Tuesday night with overnight low temperatures in the low 20s.
This dry and mild weather will continue into Christmas Day this Wednesday. In the morning, temperatures will
be in the lower 20s with partly cloudy skies. Heading into the afternoon, we will warm up into the lower 40s
with partly cloudy skies. Temperatures sink into the mid 30s by Christmas evening. Cloud cover increases
overnight to mostly cloudy skies. Low temperatures will drop into the lower 20s.
If you will be traveling home after Christmas, expect dry weather for Thursday with mostly cloudy skies and
highs in the upper 30s. On Friday, a storm system will move in bringing scattered rain showers mixed with
sleet and snow. A few lingering showers early Saturday will end by the afternoon with mostly cloudy skies.
Another storm system moves in Sunday with rounds of heavy rain showers mixed with sleet and freezing rain.
Sunday night, the rain will change over to snow. Be careful driving if you have to travel.
Overall, the best days to travel home after your Christmas plans are Thursday and Saturday.
