UTICA- The Mohawk Valley Police Academy graduates 23 new members. It was held at the Stanley Theatre on Genesee Street.
The class endured 25 weeks of both classroom training and practical exercises.
Oneida County Sheriff Rob Maciol gave some advice to the new members. "You are embarking on one of the most noble careers that exist, " he told them. "There is not a day that goes by that you won't be making a positive difference in someone's life."
