The Utica Police Department went on patrol Thursday, Oct. 8, in areas where prostitution-related activity has been reported. This included Rutger Street and South Street between Genesee and Mohawk Streets.
Police arrested 65-year-old Jaime Alvarez and 35-year-old Raul Gonzalez, both of Utica, and 45-year-old Gustavo Tamay, of Ossining.
All three men were charged with one count of third-degree patronizing a prostitute, a misdemeanor.
