As bow hunting season is underway and muzzleloading season is set to begin for some areas on Saturday, the Dolgeville police chief is asking hunters to be on the lookout for John Camardello of Dolgeville.

Camardello, 57, has been missing since Sept. 14, when he was last seen leaving his house with a gun. Police say he is armed and a danger to himself.

Camardello is described as being 5 feet 10 inches tall, and he drives a Toyota FJ Cruiser with a white top, black bottom and a fifth wheel with a Grim Reaper emblem.

Police have followed several leads since his disappearance – mainly regarding vehicle sightings – but there is still no sign of his whereabouts.
