DEERFIELD, N.Y. – A man accused in a Deerfield burglary was found already in custody on other charges on Wednesday.
Adrian Ward, 41, is charged with second-degree burglary, a C felony.
The burglary was reported at Woodruff Terrace in Deerfield on June 21. Police identified Ward as the suspect, and found him already in custody at the Utica Police Department on June 24. The other charges were not disclosed.
Ward was processed at Oneida County Sheriff’s Office on the burglary charges. He was arraigned and sent to the Oneida County jail without bail.
Police say the burglary investigation is ongoing, which may lead to more charges.
