WATERVILLE, NY - The Waterville Central School District will switch to remote learning for Thursday and Friday after positive COVID-19 cases turned up within the district.
The district posted a notice on its website Wednesday afternoon notifying the community of the change. Students at Memorial Park Elementary School and the Jr./Sr. High School are affected.
School officials say the move to virtual classes will allow them to consult with the health department and complete conttact tracing. Parents of impacted students will be notified Thursday.
