UTICA, N.Y. – Oneida County has reported another potential coronavirus exposure at a store in New Hartford.
Someone, who later tested positive for coronavirus, was at the Walmart on Commercial Drive from 1 – 2 p.m. on April 21.

Anyone at that location during that time period should monitor themselves for symptoms until May 5. Oneida County Health Department Director Phyllis Ellis says the risk of exposure was low, and it is not necessary to quarantine unless symptoms are present.
If experiencing symptoms, people should contact their primary care doctors.
Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente announced 11 new positive cases of coronavirus Thursday, bringing the overall total of positive tests to 324.
There were 20 new cases reported yesterday, and Ellis said five of those people are associated with local nursing homes or prisons.
