HERKIMER, N.Y. – Primary Urgent Care opened a new clinic on Thursday at 130 Albany St. in Herkimer.
The original facility, located at 1904 Genesee St. in Utica, has been open for four years.
Owner and CEO Michael Maurizio says he hopes to expand even further to other upstate areas.
“Primary Urgent Care is supported by our premier healthcare staffing company that has been able to locate and hire the very best practitioners in the area. With this infrastructure we plan on developing multiple Upstate New York urgent care centers to facilitate the need for immediate healthcare services,” he said.
Primary Urgent Care offers an express check-in option, where patients can select a preferred arrival time, in addition to viewing wait times, on PrimaryUrgentCare.com.
The clinic is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday: 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
