UTICA, N.Y. – With COVID-19 rules loosening across the state, soon-to-be graduates of Thomas R. Proctor High School in Utica will be able to have more family members attend graduation.
Proctor had initially planned to have eight separate ceremonies, with two guests invited per person, due to COVID-19 restrictions.
On Wednesday, district officials said the venue has been changed to the Adirondack Bank Center, and there will now be three ceremonies with each students allowed four guests.
Below are the new ceremony dates and times:
- Thursday, June 24 – 10 a.m.
- Friday, June 25 – 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
All attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test before going inside the venue.
