UTICA, N.Y. - A Proctor Raider will soon become a Binghamton Bearcat.
Raiders junior shortstop Todd Abraham has committed to play NCAA Division I baseball for Binghamton University after he graduates in June 2023.
"It feels amazing, it's a one of a kind feeling," said Abraham. "[Binghamton's] coaching staff is really amazing. It kind of just felt at home at Binghamton. I went for a visit and I instantly knew I wanted to go there"
Abraham is a multi-tool player, a solid contact hitter with speed and an above average fielder.
During the varsity season with Proctor, Abraham hit .471 with seven RBI before having a fantastic summer legion ball season with Utica Post 229, where he batted .480 with six RBI.
A multi-sport athlete, he is currently gearing up for fall football season where he will be playing running back and strong safety for the Raiders before he shifts his focus back to baseball in the spring.
