WHITESTOWN, N.Y. – Whitestown residents were recently sent letters regarding the buyout program available to those affected by the Halloween floods last year.
The U.S. National Resources Conservation Service is holding several public meetings for residents to share the program details and how to apply.
To avoid large gatherings, the meetings have been split into smaller sessions by residence. All sessions will take place at the Whitestown Community Center. See the full meeting scheduled below.
Tuesday, Sept. 29
Meeting 1: 6:30 p.m., for residents on Dunham Place and Wind Place
Meeting 2: 8 p.m., for residents of Ellmore Drive
Wednesday, Sept. 30
Meeting 1: 6:30 p.m., for residents of Davis Avenue, Ellis Avenue and Mohawk Street
Meeting 2: 8 p.m., for residents of Ablett Avenue
Thursday, Oct. 1
Meeting 1: 6:30 p.m., for residents of Sauquoit Street
Meeting 2: 8 p.m., for residents of Main Street
Friday, Oct. 2
Meeting: 6 p.m., for residents of Gardner Street
A virtual Zoom meeting will also be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, for anyone could not attend their scheduled meeting.
