Red Cross assisting 5 displaced by Utica fire

The Red Cross is assisting five people after a fire Wednesday night in East Utica.

UTICA, N.Y. -- The Red Cross is assisting five people after a fire Wednesday night in East Utica.

The fire started on Morris Street around 11:30 p.m.

Two adults and three children, ages 6 to 16 years old, are being assisted by the Red Cross.

There is no word yet on the cause of the fire.
